Crimson red, ovoid blooms have a nice, deeply curved shape in the early stages, and then her petals turn back to a less formal flower. Blooms usually grow in small clusters. Crimson red flowers are very large, 10 cm (4") on average, large and very full (over 70 petals), have deeply cupped flower form. The flowers are hefty and usually bend over, giving an elegant, cascading effect to the plant. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.

This variety is a relatively compact climber with strong, slightly arching branches well-armed with dense prickles and clothed in large, dark green leaves. It can be used in a border, as a screen, or planted against a wall. She can handle partial shade but flowers better in a full sun.
