Delicate and exquisite beauty! Gentle, elegant, of a flawless classical high-centered shape. The colour is soft cream with darker and delicious apricot-yellow closer to the center. Forms very compact and attractive plant.

FLOWERING

The variety has a good recurrent, repeating flowering habit. Blooms in flushes starting from early summer and continues until the frosts.

Flower bud:

The flower buds are medium-sized, and have an elongated oval shape. When sepals first start to divide, bud color is deep cream with lighter colour closer to the tips and yellow base petals. When the bud is half open the bud color is apricot cream with darker apricot-yellow closer to the base. They are borne in small clusters with from 3 to 9 blooms together, having irregular shape, or singly.

Bloom:

The flowers of ‘Téléthon’ are large, the average open size of the flowers is about 10-12 cm (4 – 4/5 inches). The flowers are very double, the number of petals is about 35 - 40.

When the flower first opens, it has a high-centered flower form, which becomes more open and cupped-shaped as the flower fully opens, the outer petals curl back.

The colour of the flowers on the upper sides upon opening is cream with darker apricot-yellow shades closer to the base. The reverse sides of the petals mainly are of the same colour, only slightly lighter. As the flower ages the colour becomes lighter, light cream with apricot yellow closer to the center of the petals.

The petals drop off cleanly before drying.

Disease resistance:
