Hybrid Wichurana

Hybrid Wichurana roses are historic climbing and rambling roses descended from Rosa wichurana, a species valued for its trailing growth and glossy foliage. This collection brings together varieties known for long, flexible canes, elegant branching, and abundant flowers that can range from small sprays to larger, more fully petalled blooms. Many Hybrid Wichurana roses are fragrant and create a soft, flowing effect when trained over arches, pergolas, fences, walls, pillars, or trees. Most give their main display in early summer, although some varieties may offer scattered later flowers. Explore this collection to discover heritage roses for romantic vertical planting, large garden spaces, temperate landscapes, and historic rose collections.
