English Rambling roses

English Rambling roses are a distinctive group of English roses developed within David Austin’s breeding work to combine the beauty and fragrance of English roses with the graceful, flexible growth of traditional Ramblers. Their origin lies in crosses between English Climbing roses and selected Rambling roses, creating varieties with slender trainable canes, clusters of small to medium-sized flowers, and the valuable ability to repeat flower through the summer. This collection brings together English Rambling rose varieties admired for their musky fragrance, soft colours, romantic bloom form, and manageable growth compared with many older, once-flowering ramblers. Many are excellent choices for arches, pergolas, pillars, trellises, fences, small trees, cottage gardens, and romantic vertical planting schemes.
