Description

‘Snow Goose’ produces flowers in large sprays, and its flower has a bit of a wild character, as its sprays are closely packed and the shiny, white flowers have petals of uneven length, giving a daisy-like effect.

There is a sweet Musk Rose fragrance.

This variety does not strictly qualify as an English Rose and perhaps better described as a repeat-flowering Rambler.

This variety has vigorous and strong growth habit, and may reach about 250 - 350 cm or more on a wall and about 100 cm in width when mature and well established.

It can also be grown as a shrub rose. With its long, trailing growth, ‘Snow Goose’ works wonderfully as a groundcover rose. When covered in blooms, it creates the look of freshly fallen snow.

‘Snow Goose’ is a very reliable rose that repeat-flowers really well.

It is also very much more of a climbing rose than a shrub. It is very strong-growing and exceptionally healthy, usually showing almost no sign of disease. Pest resistance has not been tested yet.
