Description

"Country vine with the scent of honey". In June, the plant gets covered with thousands of semi-double flowers, first cream-yellow, then white, spreading honey aroma far around.

The profuse flowering is followed by as many thousands of red fruits (rose hips) that will remain decorative throughout the winter and feed the birds. Light yellow buds open to small (2-4 cm) semi-double (9-16 petals) flowers that quickly fade almost to white with a yellow eye. The flowers are gathered in large clusters. They also have a strong, honey aroma. The bush is large, rounded, up to 700 cm tall and up to 600 cm wide. Branches are prickly, long, arc-shaped, and can be trained around the support.

The variety requires little care, winter hardy, very vigorous and produces numerous flowering stems with large clusters of flowers and on which later appear small red fruits in autumn. Suitable for planting near trees and supports. Tolerates poor soils and partial shade. Takes up a lot of space, grows quickly and actively. A large Shrub rose which is ideal for decorating an old canopy, facade, tree. Attracts pollinators and bees.

Winter hardiness: equitable for growing in climates similar to USDA zone 5b (-28°C to -23°C) and warmer.
