Description

This rose will not be left unnoticed in your garden. Her large ovoid orange-red-pink blooms start to open and reveal even more complex colours, which can vary depending on the weather. Flowers main colours are apricot-pink with orange and red undertones and more golden-apricot center which shades of pink and cream. Flowers are quite large, about 10-13 cm (4-5") in diameter, very full (with average 80 petals count), cupped flower form, gathered in quite large clusters of 15 blooms in average. Moreover, they have lovely fruity fragrance.

This rose blooms continuously all season long. Their flowers make are perfect for cutting and can live in vase for over a week.

This rose is very vigorous, easily reaching well over 2.5-3m in height and 1.5m wide. The stems are very strong, have upright growth, armed with large and sharp prickles and are of the very attractive reddish colouring. Its branches are so strong that it can easily be grown as a large shrub without any support. Has very healthy large, dark green semi-glossy leaves, which makes beautiful contrast for its bright and colorful flowers.


Name origin

Named to honor the copper statue in Portland, Oregon which is second only in size to the Statue of Liberty in USA.
