Description
This rose was bred by French growers Moreau and Robert. A very floriferous repeat flowering Moss rose. Nice mossy buds open in clusters of medium sized, full blossoms of a velvety deep red that ages to crimson with some small traces of white. The underside of the petals is slightly purplish. When the flowers are fully open they show a prominent center of gold stamens.
The flowers are also very fragrant. The aroma is strong, of an Old rose character with a hint of spice.
A very nice and vigorous medium sized shrub. Its spiky branches are covered in dark red moss. The dark green leaves have 3 to 7 medium-sized leaflets, elongated and pointed, widely spaced and lightly covered with brown moss. The foliage is somewhat coarse to the touch, with finely red glands on the edges of each leaf.
