Description
An Old Portland Rose variety that has large (8-10 cm), full (26-40 petals) cup-shaped flowers of a rich pale pink colour with a paler silver-pink reverse. It has a strong and pleasant Old Rose aroma. Blooms appear on a plant singly or more often in a small clusters.
Forms upright, dense, compact and neat bush, of about 100-120 cm in height, with beautiful green leaves.
Is quite resistant to diseases. Blooms repeatedly throughout the season. This is one of the most beautiful of all Old repeat flowering rose varieties, which forms a relatively small and compact plant.
Name origin
Named for Mrs. Ball, who was the sister of Treasury Commissioner William W. Leggett of New York.
