Description

‘Lovely Lidia’ is charming variety that creates a romantic atmosphere both in the garde and as a cut flower. It is used in landscaping, suitable for mixed borders, rose borders. Looks beautiful when planted in groups of several bushes. Its compact size makes it a perfect choice for borders or along pathways.

PLANT DESCRIPTION
Plant height is about 50-60 cm, the width is about 40 cm in average. It forms upright, compact and narrow plant.

General effect of foliage is dark green, dense, glossy and lathery and compliments well its hot pink flowers.

THE PLANT DEVELOPMENT
Blooming: Abundant and continual.

Aptitude to bearing fruits: None.

INFLORESCENCE
Number of flowers per stem is very variable, from 10 to 20.

Flowers:
Small ovoid flower buds open to deep pink, full and high-centered flowers gathered in large clusters. The flower diameter is about 4 cm in average.

Petals have a deep pink color and slightly curled edges and lighter whitish base with tint of yellow. The number of petals varies from 33 to 47 petals under normal conditions.

Flowering is constant throughout the season.

Fragrance is light and sweet.

The flowers have good tolerance to heat and rain.

‘Lovely Lidia’ has very good flowers lastivity. Range in number of days on the plant is 14-18 days. Range in number of days as cut flowers is 10-12 days.
