DESCRIPTION OF THE VARIETY
FLOWER
Blooms profusely, almost with short breaks, from summer to frosts. This rose variety starts to bloom in the middle of the rose season.
Flower bud:
The flower buds are medium sized, rounded, with pointed tip. The colour of the bud when the sepals start to open is white green. When the sepals half open the bud colour is white green only the colour becomes more white closer to the top.
The flower buds appear in small clusters of 5 to 7 to 10 blooms together, having a pyramidal form.
The colour of the sepals is medium green on the upper and on the lower side. The upper side is slightly pubescent, and the lower part is smooth. There are 3 sepals with very weak extensions and 2 sepals without extensions with smooth edges.
Bloom:
The flowers are medium sized, the diameter of the open flower is about 6 - 8 cm (2.5 – 3 inches). The flowers are very full and have globular shape when just open. The form persist almost always until the end, only rarely in hot and dry weather the first flower tend to open more widely and have more flat top.
When just opened the colour of the most outer petals on the reverse side white green fading to lime green closer to the edges; the colour of the upper side of the outer petals is white with lime green shades. The inner petals are white with cream white shades closer to the base of the petals. This creates the effect of green-white flowers with cream center.
When open the flowers becomes more white, only the most petals have lime green shades and edges on the reverse side. The inner petals become pure white.
The flowers last on a plant for quite long – about 8 to 12 days under normal growing conditions, as a cut flower about 8 – 10 days. The petals hang out and dry, therefore deadheading of the faded flowers is highly recommended.
Fragrance:
The fragrance is quite weak, from light to none.
