Rose La Gaite

The flowers of this vigorous, nostalgic rose display the color shades of wild berries, ripening to a soft pink towards the centre. The petals are very thick, absolutely resistant to rain. The aroma is strong with tea aspects, positioned on long stems, about 40-60 cm long. The foliage is well resistant to powdery mildew and resistant to black spot. Recommended for planting in groups and for cutting. ‘Wildberry’ has a bushy growth habit, making it particularly attractive in containers.

Bloom:
The flowers are large to medium, with average open diameter is about 10 -12 cm. Borne is small clusters of 3–5 or singly.

Stems strength is normal; the average length is about 40 - 60 cm with a diameter of 0.3 cm.

When first open the flowers have high-centered cupped shape. As the flower develops and opens the flower flattens, revealing quartered center, with petals folded in old-fashioned manner.

Variegations - absent.

Flowers have strong tea fragrance.

Petals dry out and remain attached to the receptacle.

Flowers last on the plant for quite long - about 10 days under normal conditions and about 7-10 days as a cut flower.

PLANT
Forms upright, quite bushy, compact plant. The growth strength is medium. Mature plant’s height is about 70 - 100 cm and the width is about 50 cm.

Foliage:
Number of leaflets on normal mid-stem leaves varies from 3-5 to 7. They are large. Quantity is normal.

Leaflets:
They are dark-green, glossy and lathery. Create very beautiful to her pink flowers.

The variety has very good resistance to rust and mildew, resistant blackspot under normal growing conditions.
