Description

’ Jef l’Artiste’ has very artistic, free-spirited character. Large, perfectly shaped rosette flowers of tangerine-apricot colour with paler edges may or may not have darker venation. It also may start to flower in a more pinkish-apricot colour. The central petals show a pink-apricot powdered effect. Usually, but not always, fades to lighter colours. Flowers aper on the plant singly or in small clusters of 3 to 5. Has a strong, sweet scent. The plant is very healthy and has slightly archin, spreading growth habit. Due to this intense apricot brightness, this rose could evoke the color of its "artistic messages".

Bloom:
The flowers are very large, the average open flower diameter is about 14 cm, the number of petals on the flower is about 90 – 110. The petals have ruffled edges and neatly arranged, forming a charming iridescence of orange, apricot, pink, yellow undertones.

Disease resistance:
The variety showed good resistance to black spots, botrytis, and mildew under normal growing conditions.

Considering its many petalled flowers structure, it has surprisingly very good resistance to rain and heat.
