This is once flowering rose and it blooms on the previous year's branches, it is very likely that its first spring will have few or no flowers. But it will then better give you all its exuberant flowering the following spring. For its maintenance, it is advised to prune it lightly after flowering in the summer, and give it a simple form pruning: remove any dead wood, weak and inward branches. The young branches will develop for the rest of the summer and fall for flowering the following year.
