Description

Happy Piano is a beautiful romantic variety with vigorous growth in a lovely rose-pink colour. Flowers are medium sized, with an average diameter of the open flower of 6 – 8 cm. They are usually gathered in small, globular clusters of 3-5 blooms per stem. Flowers have globular shape when they first open, which is retained for almost until the end, and only when flowers start to fade they flatten. Number of petals under the normal conditions is 91, the flowers are very full and have no aroma.

The plant forms medium bush with upright growth habit. It has 7 leaflets on normal stem, are medium, about 12 cm long and 8 cm wide. Leaflets about 5.4 cm long and 3.5 cm wide, pointed, oval and leathery, have very attractive dark-green colour.

Blooms very well in flushes through the season.

Proved to have quite good resistance to rust, mildew and blackspot under normal growing conditions.
