Description

A vigorous climbing rose, perfect for any garden, thrives when grown on an arbor or wall. Its strong stems can reach from 2 up to 6 meters. Once flowering rose, but has very prolonged flowering period, that lasts for 1 to 1.5 months. When blooms it is totally covered with very bright and vibrant semi-double crimson-red flowers, which can be over 10 cm in diameter and are born small in clusters, normally with 5 to 7 flowers. The aroma is medium and sweet. These flowers bloom from late spring through summer and are beautifully complemented by the plant's medium green pinnate leaves. To ensure the best growth, plant this stunning rose in a sunny spot and mulch with well-rotted manure during planting and in subsequent early spring times.
Forms very attractive, large orange-red, ovate hips. However, to ensure next year’s abundant flowering it is recommended to perform deadheading after the flowering.

Being once flowering rose it is best to perform sanitary and forming pruning in summer, right after the flowering as it blooms much better on last year’s growth, therefore winter/spring pruning recommended for most repat flowering roses will only reduce the flowering intensity of ‘Flammentanz’.
