Description

Introduced in 1969, Fairy Moss is the first of Ralph Moore’s repeat-blooming miniature moss roses. It was the culmination of over two decades of effort! The lightly mossed buds and bright deep pink flowers are a standout feature of this rose, which also sets seed easily.

The flowers are semi-double, cupped-to-flat, and have a mild Old Rose fragrance. As the flower ages, the color fades from bright deep pink to a more subtle pink. They appear on the plant in small clusters of about 5 to 11 flower buds together.

The plant forms a compact and rounded shape, reaching a height of about 30 cm and about the same width. Foliage tough, light green, and the plant growth character is vigorous and bushy.

Fairy Moss has proven to be a prolific parent, contributing to the lineage of nearly every miniature moss rose available today.
