Description

“The most beautiful rose that completes the bouquet of my life.” - Henri Delbard.
This rose has the charm of an old rose with its many petals, its colors from deep orange to yellow and pink evoke a sunset, it exudes a sustained fragrance, complex with notes of citrus then rose and mango, finally notes of leaves and fresh grass. Suitable for creating wonderful, fragrant bouquets that last more than ten days. It is vigorous and very resistant to diseases, offers magnificent flowering with impressive growth habit.

FLOWER
Blooms in flushes throughout the season, starting from late spring or early summer, and until the frosts. However, note that for such continuous flowering requires regular and timely deadheading.

Flower bud:

Bloom:
‘Henri Delbard’ blooms with large flowers, the average diameter of the opened flowers is 9 cm. The flowers are very full and many petaled.

The rose has a very complex flower form with old-rose character. When it first opens it is cupped shaped. As the flower opens the flower flattens, forming a shallow cup with very complex quartered center, tightly stuffed with many petals, which remind so much the old roses.

Their color is much more complex than the form of the flower. It has a mixture of orange, pink-orange, yellow, red and apricot, with the exterior of the flower often almost cream tinged with pink. The heart of the corolla is adorned with flamboyant tones.

Fragrance:
Has very strong and delicious fragrance. It starts with notes of citrus then rose and mango, and has final notes of leaves and fresh grass.

PLANT
This rose the breeder classified as Hybrid Tea rose.

Plant has very robust, vigorous, upright bush, with slightly outwardly growth type.

This rose bush produces thorny branches which bear dense foliage. Leaves are larges, serrated and have dark green colour.

Disease resistance:
The variety showed good resistance to black spots and mildew under normal growing conditions.

Its outstanding, very full flowers however have medium resistance to rain and heat.
