DESCRIPTION OF THE VARIETY
FLOWER
As the name suggests this rose has repeated, almost continuous blooming habit. Flowers from early summer until frosts.
Flower bud:
The flower buds are medium sized, have an ovoid form and pointed tip. When the sepals starts to open the bud colour is green cream. When the bud is half open the colour is cream with greenish undertones closer to the base. They are born several together in small clusters, about 5 to 12 together.
The sepals are medium, have medium green colour. The underside has smooth surface and the upper sides are pubescent. There are normally 3 sepals with medium extensions and 2 sepals with no extensions.
Bloom:
The flowers are large, when the flower is fully open the diameter is about 9 cm (3.5”). The flowers are full and upon opening have rosette shape. The flower form persists until the end. The number of the petals is about 40 on average under normal growing conditions.
The colour of the flower upon opening is cream on the outer petals which transforms into a rich golden honey closer to the center. As the flower ages the colour fades, turning to a lighter cream and ivory closer to the end, almost white.
The flowers last on a plant fairly long, for about 5 to 8 days under normal growing conditions. As a cut flower – the lastingness has not been tested. The petals drop off cleanly before drying.

The fragrance of ‘Cream Abundance’ is moderate and of a citrus character.
