Description
Flower characteristics:
‘Country Girl’ is a wonderful floribunda rose cultivar with chameleon-like flowers.
The small buds are raspberry-red with a yellow-apricot center when they just start to open. When half open they start to reveal their complex coloring: the base of the upper side of the petals is cream-apricot-yellow which transforms through apricot and pink hues to raspberry-pink; the reverse has similar yet darker coloring.
When the flower is fully open the colors change upon opening to reveal that the colours has changed: the upper side of the outer petals became light buff-cream, changing through cream to pink to raspberry-pink on the edges with apricot shading while the inner petals on the upper side are much lighter, mostly buff-cream changing to cream with just a touch of pink closer to the edges. The reverse of the petals has the same, but a bit darker colouring.
As the flower ages the colours fade, at first the whole flower becomes almost pink, later fades to cream, almost white.
The flowers are borne in large clusters of 5 to 10 to over 20 buds, each at a different stage of development, creating a multicolored effect on the bush.
The flowers are medium, with flower diameter about 4-6 cm, full, rosette-shaped, becoming much flatter as the flowers fully open. The number of petals is about 30-50 under normal growing conditions.
‘Country Girl’ has a long and continuous flowering period, from June until the first frost.

It will look great in flower beds, mixed borders and in rose borders, and will have exquisite look in group plantings, also it is suitable for growing in pots and containers.
