Rose Camelot

A very versatile climbing rose. Camelot® has exceedingly vigorous growth, whereby the plant branches all the way down. It continuously produces new basal shoots, which are not as strong and therefore excellent for training up a trellis. The medium-sized flowers have average 6 - 8 cm (2.3” – 3.1”) in diameter and appear in small clusters. The fine, dark-pink markings on the petals are particularly attractive. The flowers are loosely fully doubled and self-cleaning. Light citrus fragrance.

Hardy climbing rose with attractive flowers. Excellent leaf health with extremely good resistance to black spot and mildew infestation.

Clearly weaker 2nd flower, therefore it is recommend consistent summer pruning after the first flush of flowering.

Unfortunately we do not have information about the origin of the name of this rose.
